Lake of Bays freezes over in winter, and seasonal activities like snowshoeing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling are popular in the area. Access to the frozen lake varies by location and conditions, and safety cannot be guaranteed. Guests are encouraged to explore designated access points and trails in the surrounding area.

One dog is welcome per stay with approval and an additional pet fee of three hundred dollars.

The private driveway is maintained by a local plowing company, but winter conditions in Muskoka can vary. Guests with 4x4 vehicles and winter tires typically have no issues. A safe alternative parking option is also available nearby, with a short walk down to the cottage. We recommend planning accordingly, as weather and road conditions are beyond our control.

Lily’s Lake House is set on an elevated, cliffside property with approximately 80 steps leading down to the lake. While many guests enjoy the setting, it may not be ideal for those with mobility challenges. We recommend reviewing photos and reaching out with any questions before booking.
